Yes, I'm here.

Yes, there is not furniture here, and I'm sitting hap-hazard on a beanbag writing this with our new internet.

But I'm actually feeling pretty darn good about the whole thing.

I need to sleep now. I've got an orientation in the morning.

Wish me luck.

I've actually been meaning to write on this for a while now, but I'm just now 'getting the chance' to. I've kind of been busy trying to do this packing thing, so it doesn't surprise me.

On my next to last day of work, I was doodling between calls, and I thought of a character who has recently come to mind a lot. This is the character I drew:

Now the fun starts: without clicking on the jump, can anybody guess who this character is? (Hints: he's from the LRPLI, and he's not normally a human. He's normally a squirrel!)Read more... )

What follows is a written journal entry from February 10, 2009. We were asked in class to write what we wanted, what was keeping us from that, and why.

Two things I want:
an Nintendo DSLite -- money
a renewed Platinum Pass -- not summer

First off, if I got the DSLite, I'd no longer have ANY free time. But I would be extremely happy. I get rather attached to my electronics. I'd take it everywhere.
For the record, a Platinum Pass gets you into all Cedar Fair amusement parks, including Cedar Point and Kings Island. Words cannot express the feelings I hold for these places. They are HOME.

Two things I want emotionally:

a loft in New York City -- money
for my boyfriend to be there -- Jake HATES the city

Can I start with the second one? Jake is probably the person I trust most, and even though we've been a bit rocky, I still feel love for him. Knowing he was always there (I know, not specific enough) would be like a rock, a foundation, in an unknown city.
Speaking of New York, it has so much life, so much opportunity. And I want to live on top of it all.

Two things I want psychologically:

more organized -- needs to be a habit, accountability partner?
more alive -- working on it; see Friday!

I suck at organization. It's a mess.
And I feel no emotion. Period.

Omigosh guys.

Like, I am basically done thinking straight.

So much to do, so much money to spend, so little time to do it all in.

It's great, isn't it?

There is way too much Bath and Body Works stuff on this desk. I need to fix that. (fixes) Read more... )

When Cedar Point asks which seat on Millennium Force is best, back or front, I say "the whole thing." XD
