She's pretty much awesome, I will not lie. It should not surprise you that I first got into MISIA from a song about an amusement park -- Tokyo DisneySea, to be more specific. It was my freshman year at Miami and I was looking for music to listen to, spamming my favorite sites and what not. And I found this.
For some odd reason, MISIA's music always reminds me of Kings Island. I don't know why. Maybe I'm just weird. I'll have to make a list of her favorite songs, but the above one is definitely one of them.
She just released a new album this summer and I didn't learn about it until...oh, yesterday. XD I found a download for it; now that I"m in NYC I can't wait to buy her music. I'm specifically looking for ASCENSION but others as well. I think my favorite tracks so far are tracks 2 and 10, and 4 is really good too.
