Did Raz literally mean that they are the only 4 people who know the Bible is gone? I mean, cause there's still news coverage about it missing. Is that because of the reality slips?
I noticed that when Raz said he had to ask Carissa just one question and then grabbed her by the shoulders and stared her down he didn't actually ask a question, but he acted as if her got his answer. Did he communicate with her telepathically?
Somewhere in a later chapter I think an enemy should mock Carissa by calling her "Mi Hija" or by taking on the form of Carissa's mother.
QWERTY must have something at stake if they don't find Dvorak. Is theirs the universe at risk that Ariana is referring to?
When Peter finally re-emerges (I'm assuming he will) He asks the other Scoobies something like, "Did you miss me," they reply, "Not really," and then he's all like ":_(" but they were just kidding.
It seems that the realities are unable to shift in whatever area Carissa happens to be in. Maybe the scoobies realize this; that they have to stick near Carissa as a sort of shield against getting sucked away.
There's a rare candy in it for you if you can work in a game of marble ;-)
"I apparently forgot my hat and gloves in another dimension" <---This is hilarious!
In one of the future chapters I think the end should seem nigh. It should look as though they are going to lose; that reality is going to be reset and that Carissa will lose Mac, and that's when they kiss for the first time.
"Is your butt vibrating?” <-- Aaaand, I just died grinning.
I love how Isabel takes everything so seriously, but in a playful/childlike way.
So QWERTY is like a coalition of people from different universes responsible just for making sure that OUR universe operates as intended? As intended by who? Dvorak? Cause, I'm getting the impression that even though Dvorak may be the boss of QWERTY he is not a universe creator. Also, what's so special about our universe that makes them all want to band together to protect/manage it? Maybe QWERTY is actually an evil organization and our universe is a sort of slave universe and our everyday going-ons feed energy to the other universes and we don't even know it.
I'm unclear at this point if Dvorak is a good or bad guy. In fact I'm unclear as to whose side anybody is on...I kinda like it! That's just good story telling I think. Do you already have it figured out in your head who is on what side or do you want help from the peanut gallery to decide that?
"As Ariana filed in, Carissa grabbed her cloak and shut it into the door, then took a bite out of her apple, and time stopped." <---Genius
In the next chapter they try to return the Gutenberg bible to the library, seeking out Raz's help. They are able to get away from Union Sq. but only a certain distance before time starts up again and Ariana is released. She, of course, is furious. And chases them down, and they have to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge. Explosions? They are finally able to reach Raz but then something they weren't expecting to happen, happens, and it all becomes more clear whose side everyone is on.
BTW, I know Ariana is a name you kinda reserve for the bad guys but when Carissa told her that I'll at least listen to you, and Ariana was like, "Okay, thanks." and then Carissa double crossed her, I felt kinda sorry for Ariana. Is it possible that, even if she's wrong, Ariana is not necessarily evil but is genuinely doing what she thinks is right?
