So this will be today's post.
Episode 1 of Heartcatch PreCure Paradise introduces all listeners to our four heroines -- starting with Tsubomi, the pink-haired one. Her best friend, Erika (the blue haired one) has been planning a retreat for the four Cures in a house on a place called Ten Island, away from everybody else. It's going to be a private, relaxing retreat for the heroes.
We can't have that, can we? As the heroes arrive, they discover there's another foe on their hands, and a man named Hoshizaki (played by Toby from the D.V.Crew) shows up to ruin things. Who's the best to combat Toby? Subway, of course! If there's something you've learned from the D.V.Crew it's that Toby and Subway are always somehow in cahoots together, so it would make sense that Subway's character, the elusive Cure Lily Of The Valley, would show up to wreck his party. (Just, Subway...don't sing "Two Pina Coladas" like you have a habit of doing with Toby.)
Action, adventure, romance, humor, and Blue and Subway -- it's all here, in Heartcatch PreCure Paradise!

A few thoughts:
-- This was one of the episodes that used Ringo's built-in microphone, and as such, I know it's a bit iffy on the quality. By episode 3, my new microphone comes into play.
-- The worst part of this episode is where everybody transforms. I had a really hard time period getting everybody's voices to be so distinct and different. But by the time Lily of the Valley (Subway) comes in at the end, she's able to take control, and her attack, Precure Midori Forte Arpeggio, was my favorite part of the episode. After temporarily losing a character and putting Blue and Subway in, the other characters really find their voices by episode 3.
-- On the yuri -- no pun intended -- it's not even really that. There's not really anything that anybody can't listen to in HPP!. TsubomiXYuri is one of the couples, and there will be another couple (more on that later, as things open up and the storyline progresses), but anything really squeamish (like fluff) will be kept at a strict PG level, and the one really big shojo-ai moment is actually planned as its own mini-episode that you don't have to listen to if you don't want to (and it's not required to continue the storyline). All I can say is this: trust Blue Line. They know what they're doing. (They've been doing this for six years now.)
Gosh, 7:24 in the morning, and I have to be up by 11:30 or so. Gotta love it.
