memorialrainbowMy mom and I had an interesting conversation over dinner, which was amusing mostly because we couldn't avoid picking at each other. She was sad because she thought that the only reason I was moving to New York City, or planning on it, was because I wanted to help Dylan so he could follow his dream.
I used to be that self-sacrificial. But now, there's a reason I want to chase my dream. There's someone who has been loving me for a long time, someone who has taught me the meaning of love and trust, and I can't just abandon the lessons I've learned. But why is it so hard for me to get off of my butt and do something?
