It's June. Hello, June! I haven't blogged yet for June or yet for this summer, so it's comforting to know I'm having a bit of fun here. I literally have sat in this chair ALL DAY. Nice to know that my butt likes it here.

The first thing from today is the fact that I've began work on my Camp NaNoWriMo novel! Yes, I am doing camp this year, and I was kind of nervous about it at first. I tried doing camp July of last year, and then five hundred words in life started happening. (It didn't help that July of 2011 was, oh, I don't know, one of the most stressful times of my life.)

But anyway, I mentioned this a little while back on this same blog -- May 5th was my birthday, and my friend Kristene and I went out for a little bit, ended up getting Chinese food in Koreatown (yeah, I know, that makes a lot of sense). We finally went to bed at her new apartment about five or so in the morning, at which point I had a very vivid dream about -- ahem -- THIS COMIC.

People need not give me crap; I loved this comic when it first came out. It's all [personal profile] outstretched's fault, I swear. I've known that woman for years. We were just chillin' in her car the other day, come to think of it, and I mentioned the dream and she was like, "10K!" She still plays Dance Dance Revolution, as well. I was like, "yeah...on that..." :D

So I am working on a novel based on the DDR concept for Camp NaNoWriMo. I'm not afraid of sharing the idea with everybody, considering that A: it's already posted up on Camp NaNo's website for everybody to see, and B: I will definitely be self-publishing this one. In my opinion, it has a smaller fan-base, and I want to make sure I really hit that fan base on the head. There are also things I want to add to the book myself, and some little tweaks that I want to show you all that I'm not sure I'd be able to do with a bigger corporation. You'll all have that to look forward to soon, I'm sure.

But I am especially sore because of this.

Yes, I took that video.

Yes, I was there. Yes, that is me you hear.

Yes, that was craziness.

I have favorite parts of last night. Dancing in the fountains with glowsticks with Sandstorm playing. Recreating Titanic on the Staten Island Ferry with Dylan lifting me up. Singing really loudly on the subway car. Slow dancing to Aerosmith in Times Square. But my favorite part was sitting on the ferry, going back toward Manhattan, and yelling out all my dreams to the sky, just getting them off of my chest.

So glad I bought a t-shirt with money I don't have.

So now I have moved from the chair. Have a good night, ya'll.
